Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We’ve developed a unique power-to-fuel machine built for low-capex deployment powered entirely by utility-scale solar.Here’s our entire business plan . We already have individual operating modules of our machine, we’re funded, and we’re now building out the team to bring the vision together and deploy at scale.
We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground. We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to help us build a strong foundation to our system prior to scaling up manufacturing. The role:
- Risk assessments of all plant equipment on a stack and system level
- CE marking of plant equipment
- Documentation
- Capture, traceability and validation of plant
- Create and maintain system’s lifecycle, including design specs, user manuals, and maintenance guides
- System Modelling: Create and manage various types of models, including UML (Unified Modeling Language), SysML (Systems Modeling Language), BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and more.
- Architecture Development: Design the system architecture, including the relationships and interactions between different components
- Simulation and Analysis: Simulate system behaviour and perform various analyses to verify that the system meets its requirements.
- Traceability: Maintain traceability between different system artefacts, such as requirements, design elements, and test cases.
Core skills:
- Experienced in converting regulations & standards into requirements
- Bachelor’s or Masters in engineering
- Multi-disciplinary experience, across mechanical, electrical, software and chemical engineering
