Location: Veterinary Specialists Scotland, Livingston Job Type: Permanent Hours: Full time – 40hrs About Us Our rapidly expanding, state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital located in Livingston, between Edinburgh and Glasgow, is looking for an RVN to join our Internal Medicine service. Veterinary Specialists Scotland (VSS) is a newly established, multi-disciplinary referral hospital that opened in October 2020. The clinic premises have been purpose-built to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care while providing a beautiful and pleasant working environment. The team’s core values are excellence in patient, client, colleague, and referring vet care. We place a strong emphasis on team and collaborative working. We are looking for Veterinary Nurses who share our ethos to help make VSS a supportive, stimulating, and enjoyable place to practice veterinary medicine and surgery to the highest standard. Your Role and Responsibilities As an Internal Medicine RVN, you will rotate through internal medicine, ICU, wards, cardiology, and dermatology alongside a team of nurses, clinicians, and specialists. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to patients in our wards and intensive care unit, as well as assisting with procedures such as endoscopy and advanced imaging, including radiography, ultrasound, CT, and Interventional Radiography Procedures. Working within our dynamic clinical team, the successful candidates will ideally have a good background in referral work; however, this is not essential.
