We\’re supporting them in their search for a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to join their supply chain team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a key role that has a direct impact on factory performance, product availability, and supplier relationships. About the Role As the principal Buyer supporting both direct and indirect procurement, you’ll ensure materials are procured in line with production schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Working cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers, you’ll be at the heart of procurement operations, helping to maintain the seamless flow of goods into the business. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute the purchase of direct goods to support the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Maintain accurate internal material plans, flagging any risks to stock availability. Serve as the key procurement contact for product launches and change control processes. Place indirect purchase orders, expedite deliveries, resolve invoice queries, and contribute to overall operational efficiency. Support supplier performance management and monthly reporting on procurement KPIs. What We\’re Looking For Skills & Experience: Proven background in a procurement-focused role (minimum 2 years). Confident negotiator with strong supplier relationship skills. Organised, systematic, and comfortable managing competing priorities. Experience working in a GMP/pharma, FMCG, or regulated manufacturing environment is advantageous. Familiarity with planning software or ERP systems
