Waking Nights Male Carer

Job Title: Male Night Carer (Waking Nights) Location: Bedford & Ampthill (MK40 and MK45 areas) Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Waking Nights) Pay: £14.50 – £15.50 ph Job Type: Full-time or part-time (flexible shifts available)   Role Overview: We are seeking compassionate, reliable male night carers to provide one-to-one support for two male clients in their own homes. These clients require reassurance and assistance during the night to maintain safety, comfort, and dignity. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, confident working alone, and experienced in supporting older adults with mobility and personal care needs during night hours.   Key Responsibilities: Provide sensitive and respectful night-time support Assist with safe mobility and toileting (using a walking frame) Offer reassurance and emotional support as needed Monitor client wellbeing and respond to any needs promptly Maintain clear communication with live-in carers or family Record any relevant observations or incidents   Requirements: Male carers only (due to the personal nature of care) Experience in night care or elderly support Confidence supporting clients with dementia or frailty Patient, calm, and dependable Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply) Two references from previous care roles   What We Offer: Supportive and professional team environment Flexible working arrangements Well-matched clients with consistent needs Opportunities to build meaningful, long-term relationships   To apply, or for more information, please get in touch.
