We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regional Account Manager in the foodservice industry to join The Caterfood Buying Group. You will be responsible for new sales growth and your primary goal will be to drive sales, increase market share and build strong customer relationships to maximise opportunities. You must have a strong background in foodservice sales. About Us Caterfood Buying Group is a network of independent foodservice suppliers that collaborate to provide a wide range of products, industry expertise, and extensive geographical coverage. The group operates in almost every part of England and Wales, including the Channel Islands. With recent acquisitions contributing to an increase in our annual turnover of c£100m, CFBG are always looking to embrace new opportunities across the UK. Salary: 50 – 60k depending on experience (plus uncapped commission and car allowance) Hours: 37.5 Role Essential Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow market share. Identify and establish relationships with potential group accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and product development, and operations to deliver customised solutions that meet the unique needs of our potential customers. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to stay informed with market developments and adjust strategies accordingly. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with new accounts to ensure mutual profitability and long-term partnerships. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management Who we’re looking for Proven track record of success within Foodservice, ideally at sales manager level and with a focus on new business development Resilient, determined, and self-motivated with a passion for building customer relationships Strong communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft office suite Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
