Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Centre Engineer to join our Client onsite in the UK. This role is ideal for a networking professional with deep expertise in Cisco and Juniper technologies, and a passion for delivering robust, scalable data centre solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement VXLAN EVPN architectures to support modern data centre environments
• Configure and maintain Cisco and Juniper switching platforms across enterprise-grade infrastructure
• Support and troubleshoot MPLS and Service Provider networking environments
• Manage and optimize DC gateway functions on Cisco routers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of network services
• Provide hands-on support for onsite deployments, upgrades, and incident resolution
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices to support operational excellence

Technical Expertise

• Strong foundation in Cisco and Juniper switching and data centre technologies
• Proven experience with VXLAN EVPN architecture (design, testing, and implementation)
• Solid understanding of Cisco MPLS and Service Provider networking
• Familiarity with DC gateway functions and routing protocols on Cisco platforms

• Relevant Cisco and/or Juniper certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly desirabl
