We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Eye, Suffolk offering a salary up to £35,000. This role offers a chance to be a vital part of a dynamic team, ensuring seamless coordination of all logistics operations.
In this position, you will manage customer communications and oversee all administrative tasks related to order processing, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in logistics, along with strong organisational and administrative skills.
Role responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator include:- Tracking orders throughout shipping process, updating customers on delivery status
- Coordinating with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Managing inventory levels and stock updates
- Generating reports on sales performance, delivery metrics and customer feedback
- Generating shipping labels, invoices and other necessary documentation
- Answering customer enquiries regarding orders, deliveries and product information via phone and email
- Previous experience within a logistics position
