Production Operatives

Overview

Hiring Production Operatives for a frozen food manufacturing company located in Boston.

Responsibilities

• Work with Line Leaders and other staff involved in the packing of quality frozen product to prepare it for supermarket readiness.
• Remove all Foreign Material (FM) such as wood, plastic, and paper from the product.
• Ensure that all safety checks and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous food production experience is desirable but not necessary to apply.
• Heavy duty role requiring the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and stacking.

Details

• Rates of Pay: £12.60 – £13.14 per hour. Overtime paid after 40 hours. Overtime rate is 1.5x basic rate. Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
• Weekly pay. Paid 30 minute break. PPE provided. Canteen. Parking on site. Location: 20 min walk from the city centre.
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, rotation between 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. Shifts rotate on a weekly basis.
