Children\'s Residential Support Worker

Driving Licence Required Enhanced DBS Needed We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join a children’s residential home in Shipley, supporting young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural needs. What you’ll be doing: * Building trusting, positive relationships with children and young people * Supporting daily routines, education, and emotional wellbeing * Encouraging independence and personal development * Assisting with activities, appointments, and household tasks * Working as part of a warm, supportive team What we’re looking for: * Experience working with children or vulnerable young people (residential or similar setting) * A calm, resilient, and compassionate nature * Full UK driving licence * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is ideal – or willingness to work towards it
