Estimator – Hard FM Peterborough £50,000 – £60,000 Package: Company Vehicle or Allowance + 31 Days Annual Leave (Including Bank Holidays) + Excellent Benefits Package Overview: Working for an establish Facilities Management business operating across the UK, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Hard Services Estimator to join a busy business development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM estimator or a technically skilled individual looking to transition into estimating with the right support and training. The Role: As a Hard Services Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance contracts ranging in annual value upto £8m. Your core focus will be on supporting tender submissions and business growth through well-prepared and clearly structured cost models. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed cost estimates for M&E hard services maintenance contracts. * Labour-load asset schedules in line with SFG20 maintenance specifications. * Analyse and estimate costs for labour, materials, consumables, and specialist subcontractors. * Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to gather necessary data. * Ensure estimates are submitted within fixed deadlines with high accuracy. * Support the wider business development and bid management functions as required. What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a Facilities Management estimating role, preferably with a Hard Services bias. * Alternatively, individuals from a technical background (e.g. FM, engineering, M&E services) with core transferable skills and a desire to move into estimating will be considered – training and support will be provided. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Ability to interpret asset lists and maintenance schedules. * Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
