Production/Warehouse Operative

Johnson Analytica Ltd requires a Production/Warehouse Operative to be responsible for handling, accurately recording, documenting and despatching completed products to customers. You will be required to inspect, store and despatch material and components in a safe, accurate and the most efficient manner possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely offload all incoming goods arriving at the company\’s site.
• Check delivered items against purchase order/specification requirements and book onto the in house system
• Stack all incoming stock safely onto shelves in appropriate locations
• Identify and help pack components in production area in accordance with standard procedure and check for accuracy of work being carried out
• Allocate and make up customer orders from product stocks in accordance with standard procedure.
• Box orders for shipping using banding machine, shrink wrap and and other protective methods as required.
• Produce appropriate labels and prepare relevant documentation for transport using in house software.
• Book transport with courier/freight companies
• Transfer goods for delivery to the delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring no damage takes place.
• Ensure all goods leaving the premises are signed for by the delivery driver.
• Report defects to Manager/Supervisor.

Experience:

Working in a despatch role within a manufacturing/engineering environment an advantage
