Handle Recruitment is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join a global leader in events and media to work on their Arts & Entertainment division – primarily an annual food festival!
Focused on maximizing revenue to meet or exceed targets you will be responsible for selling stand packages within the culinary portfolio and providing clients with efficient and professional customer care. In addition, you will have a passion for live events and have sales experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maximising all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets.
- Arranging and attending meetings with potential new clients.
- Maintaining, developing and managing sales database including record of key contacts and sales communication.
- Contributing ideas to develop the event – proactively engaging with industry trends and insights.
- Maintaining and updating floor plans.
- Liaising with other internal departments/functions – marketing, operations, conferences, accounts, PR etc.
- Ensuring re-booking processes are implemented to achieve required targets.
- Executing a consistent and well thought out sales communication schedule.
- Creating a customer care programme to maintain strong relationships, ensuring excellent on site delivery and driving show loyalty.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in event sales
- Experience of sales planning
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work and deliver under pressure, and deliver results through others
- Due to the nature of events flexibility for travel and longer hours when needed is required
