Local transport company based in Washington in County Durham are currently requiring a HGV2 Driver with pallet experience to do deliveries around the Tyne & Wear, Teesside and County Durham areas.
Hours of work for HGV2 Driver are roughly 7.30am/8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £14.00 per hour for the first 8 hours worked and £21.00 per hour for any overtime worked, with a guaranteed 8 hours per shift.
This is regular work for the right HGV2 applicant as the previous 2 drivers we placed with this client have been employed permanently.
HGV2 Drivers should have:
- No more than 6 points on their licence
- No DR/DD offences
- A valid CPC and Digicard
Due to being agency work, this will not be suitable for HGV2 drivers in permanent employment, despite it being regular work. Applicants should also have access to a PC/Laptop as application forms will be sent via email and need returning electronically in PDF format.
