About the role
Are you great with people? Do you have a passion for delivering great service? Looking for a role that keeps you active? Experienced in multi-temperature environments and using voice headsets to pick orders? If night working suits your life, and you have the energy to make sure our drivers leave with the right product in the right place at the right time, then why not make our journey your journey?
Play an important part in our journey. Our mid shifts have varying start times between 5:30pm and 12:00am (midnight) and rotas are any 5 in 7 days. As Warehouse Operative on our mids/nights shifts, you’ll handle a wide range of shelved, chilled and frozen products.
You’ll be:
- Picking orders through voice technology – so you’ll be wearing a headset.
- Loading products, and making sure they’re arranged and stored correctly.
- Using our handling equipment (we’ll train you on how to use it safely!).
- Relocating products using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
You’ll be moving around a lot, so a good level of physical fitness will help you on your journey with us. It’s also important that you care about your team, our customers and our goods. Most of all, you’ll work hard to make sure our drivers leave the warehouse on time and with the right orders in their trucks, so our customers get the food they need.
