Export Clerk - Fine Art

Our client are a small, expanding freight forwarding based in the Bagshot area and specialising in the niche fine art shipping’ industry. An exciting new role is available for an experienced air export professional to join the expanding team. Must have previous air export knowledge, ops and Customs experience. This is an opportunity to be involved in an expanding business as a key member of the team. Must have a driving licence and own transport and previous experience of export air freight forwarding. Exceptional English communication and customer service skills are required. Previous knowledge of Fine Art Shipping is required.

Skills Required for the Export Clerk – Fine Art

• Previous air export ops & Customs knowledge
• Able to cut and rate Master/House waybills
• Knowledge of Customs entries and various Customs systems (CDS)
• Experience of shipping fine arts & hi value goods
• Quotes . Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
• Broad scope of completing air export shipments, start to finish
• Using CargoWise (previous experience advantageous but not essential)

Employment Terms Required for the Export Clerk – Fine Art

• M-F 9am-5.30pm
• 25 days holiday plus BH
• Based in the office 5 days per week
• Must be able to easily commute to the Bagshot area and be a Car Driver/Owner
• £35-40k DOE & Neg
