As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Beyond that, a positive attitude, energy, and the ability to get along well with people are essential. You should be a good communicator, skilled at listening and giving clear instructions. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you will do so with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
