We are seeking a hardworking, intelligent and reliable waste collection driver to be part of a pool of staff to cover all aspects of refuse collection and recycling duties, including skip wagon driving. The successful applicant should be conscientious, flexible, trustworthy, have good communication skills and show high levels of productivity. They must be able to lead a small team in a mature and effective manner. A proven record of driving LGV vehicles is essential. The successful candidate must also be available to work Bank Holidays and work to ensure rounds are complete. This role would also include moving and emptying of wheeled bins and refuse sacks outside in all weathers.
Hours of work are 7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, and 7am to 2.30pm Friday.
