Job Opportunity: Theatre Store Health Care Support Worker

An opportunity has arisen for two permanent Theatre Store Health Care Support Workers. These posts will be based across a range of perioperative specialties. As part of an expanding team, the successful candidates will be responsible for:

1. Stock management and rotation
2. Tracking, tracing, and re-ordering of stock, including implants
3. Supporting the set-up of instrumentation or loan kits for surgery

The post holders will work regularly without supervision, with support from the wider team when needed.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must be professional, committed to quality, teamwork, and patient care. They should be able to organize and manage their workload effectively and communicate well across the multidisciplinary team. Experience in stock management within a Theatre department would be advantageous.

About the Organization

The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, located in Clydebank near transport links and Glasgow city centre, has a Theatre Department with 20 theatres, serving specialties such as Cardiac, Thoracics, General/Colorectal, and Orthopaedics.
