Production Chemist

Location: Greater Sheffield, UK

Work Schedule: Shift Work (rotating 8-hour shift pattern starting midnight, 4am, 5am starts)

Eligibility: Must have full right to work in the UK on a Permanent basis.

About the Role: As a Production Chemist in a GMP-certified facility, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that operations meet the rigorous standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment according to GMP guidelines.
  • Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency.
  • Document and report on production activities and outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a life science subject (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).
  • Any amount of previous work experience in an ISO regulated or GMP/ GLP environment (This could be 1 month – 2 years).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts.
  • Driving license/ own vehicle highly preferred due to shift times.
