Do you like working with people? And love animals? We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our team. You will be part of a fast-paced and friendly team, responsible for being the first point of contact to our clients. You will be booking appointments and dealing with a variety of enquiries either face-to-face, over the phone or via email. Maintaining client records and taking payments when required whilst ensuring that our clients receive the excellent service we are known for.

We have 17 Vets and 26 Nurses including SVNs and further supported by VCAs and an Administrative Support team. As a team of encouraging, supportive, and exceptionally knowledgeable individuals we pride ourselves in offering the best care to our clients and their pets.
More about you. We're looking for someone with great customer service skills, who can show empathy and handle emotional situations. Experience in a customer-facing role, both in person and over the phone, is a plus. You should be passionate about helping people and animals, have solid IT skills, and be able to record data accurately. Attention to detail and being a good team player are important. If you know a bit about the veterinary industry, that's a bonus, but not a must!
This exciting position will require you to work at different sites, therefore a car is essential for this role. You could be asked to cover any one of our seven sites which are situated in Brighton, Portslade, Southwick, Lancing, Broadwater, Tarring and Durrington.
Work pattern. You will work 40 hours per week over a variety of shifts between 8 am – 7pm, with inclusion in the Saturday morning rota.
