Kitchen Assistant

Overview

This role matters. We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our experienced and supportive Catering department. This is a 12-month fixed term role for 15 hours per week, working 2 out of 7 days as part of a flexible rota, from 7.30am until 3.30pm each shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hospice’s catering team in delivering a high level of quality food and customer service to our Courtyard Café, patients, and the wider Hospice team.
• Help maintain a 5* Food Hygiene rating and uphold high standards in a large modern kitchen environment.
• Contribute to ensuring meals are of high quality, well displayed and served in appropriate surroundings.

Details

The post is subject to a standard DBS check. The cost (£26.30) will be deducted from the successful applicant’s first salary payment.

Salary: £9,531.60 – £9,828.00 per annum (based on 15 hours per week, dependent on pension scheme)
