ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Neath Port Talbot, Swansea
SALARY: Β£12.60 β Β£13.30 per hour
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Based in Neath Port Talbot our supported living service supports up to 3 individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. The service consists of 4 bedrooms, with a shared lounge and kitchen area. Our housing-related support service focuses on promoting wellbeing, greater independence and social inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care (depending on service user).
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
