Looking ahead to the new academic year - are you ready for a fresh, rewarding challenge? We are hiring for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. This long-term role is to support a Year 5 boy with ASD and ADHD on a one-to-one basis, starting from September 2025. The role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
- Experience following EHCP targets and contributing to reviews
- The ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider SEN team
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and SEN strategies
