Despatch Operative

Working as part of our existing team, we require full-time Despatch Operatives to assist with the efficient running of the Retail Despatch Department. We are seeking determined and committed individuals who can impact performance positively and contribute to the company\’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Unloading lorries and weighing products
• Scanning products into and out of production
• Adhering to stock rotation procedures
• Checking yields at the end of production and investigating issues
• Scanning pallets
• Stacking products correctly in the chills
• Stocktaking
• Selecting correct orders
• Loading containers
• Performing clerical duties related to dispatch

Qualifications

Essential

• Excellent communication skills
• Good spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach and willingness to work additional hours if needed

Desirable

• Previous experience in the food industry (advantageous)
