We are currently recruiting for an additional Returns Inspector to join our Warehouse Operation, responsible for inspecting all products returned by customers, identifying the reason for return - whether due to quality issues, damage, picking errors, or other discrepancies.
Reporting to the Quality Team Leader, you will work closely with the Customer Care, Quality, Administration, and Warehouse teams, managing your workload against set targets and deadlines.
What Our Returns Inspectors Do
- Communicate daily with the Quality Team Leader and relevant departments to align on priorities and returns volume
- Maintain strong working relationships with the Quality, Admin, Warehouse, and Customer Care teams
- Collaborate effectively to resolve customer return issues and support investigation processes
- Inspect returned goods and accurately identify reasons for return (e.g., damage, incorrect item, defect)
- Record return data using relevant IT systems and returns management tools
- Ensure all returns are processed and sorted according to procedures and company standards
- Support stock checks as required and update the system accordingly
- Work closely with the Customer Care team to investigate and resolve returns efficiently
What We Need From Our Returns Inspectors
- Relevant MHE licence(s) desirable
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or returns-handling environment desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a medium to heavy lifting environment and at height (full training provided, including Manual Handling Training)
