About Us: Join our dynamic and fast-paced warehousing team! We are seeking a dedicated Logistics and Warehouse Operative to support our Logistics department by ensuring the correct handling, transportation, and storage of goods. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods to and from various sites.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Production teams to ensure quick trailer turnaround.
- Maintain all equipment in a legal and functional condition.
- Complete Driver's Daily Defect Sheets.
- Safely position trailers and units across all sites.
- Dispatch components to production efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Adhere to stock and batch rotation practices.
- Accurately handle and locate stock, preventing damages.
- Perform stock-taking and cycle counting within the warehouse.
Regular Duties Include:
- Unloading and loading vehicles.
- Using SAP warehouse processes competently.
- Confirming and picking Transfer Orders.
- Consolidating block stack material.
- Maintaining warehouse stock record boards.
- Conducting basic maintenance on MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
- Physically sampling received goods.
- Managing goods-in paperwork and discrepancies.
- Marshalling outbound loads (Components).
- Handling returns from Production.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or similar warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Awareness of stock rotation and inventory management.
- Basic maintenance knowledge for MHE.
- Ability to use hand pallet trucks and, when trained, MHE.
- HGV License.
