JOB- CNC Machinist
LOCATION- Milton Keynes
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (Plus overtime)
Premier Group are recruiting for a CNC Machinist with either Milling or Turning experience, on a permanent basis, in Milton Keynes.
Experience with Setting, Operating and Programming would be ideal. Training can be provided on Programming.
The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
- Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Miller / Turner – ideally with experience in XYZ, Fanuc, Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Be happy to work the alternating weekly shifts
The CNC Machinist will involve:
- Working with CNC machinery and producing metal
- Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work
- Inspecting components as required
- CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Adhering to company H&S requirements
- Have a flexible approach to work
