The work involves site prep, loading, unloading equipment, clearing debris, helping out your team members, and any other tasks needed or directed by the project foreman. Responsibilities
- Clean up any tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean worksite.
- Unload and stack all building materials and tools needed for a project so that everything is accessible and easy to find for the project.
- Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it before construction starts.
- Assist tradespeople and heavy equipment workers with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other trade work as needed.
- Work with your crew through all stages of the project to make sure that the job is done efficiently.
Qualifications
- Preference to candidates with experience using construction equipment such as forklift and power tools.
- Needs to be good at following directions and complete tasks, both independently and on a team.
- This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience with construction builds is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates.
