Are you an experienced Joiner or Woodworker who takes pride in producing high-quality, handcrafted work? Impact Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturer in Northampton that creates a wide range of custom-made products. They are looking for a Joiner to join their workshop team, someone who's confident with woodworking machinery, reading drawings, and working with solid and sheet timber.
This role is ideal for someone from a joinery, shopfitting, or wood machining background who wants to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, consistency, and hands-on problem-solving.
Salary: Up to £19 an hour DOE
Hours: Tuesday to Friday (4 day week)
Location: Northampton
Key Duties:
- Interpret technical drawings to cut, shape, and assemble wooden components.
- Operate standard workshop tools and machinery such as saws, planers, edge-banders, and routers.
- Work with sheet materials and solid timber to create high-quality items.
- Carry out fitting, finishing, and basic assembly tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and assist in improving workshop efficiency.
- Work independently and as part of a small, supportive production team.
