PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Trainee Metal Spinner Apprentice for our client, Calibre Metal Spinning. As a Trainee Metal Spinner Apprentice, you will need an interest in joining a workshop environment, learning a range of engineering techniques with a special skill of Metal Spinning. This apprenticeship programme forms part of Company succession planning for the future.
Training to be provided:
As a Trainee Metal Spinner Apprentice, you will be studying a level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with Calibre, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach. You will attend PETA's training centre based in Havant for 1 day per week for off-the-job learning. Overall apprenticeship duration is 15 months.
About the role:
Joining the Company team as a Trainee Metal Spinner Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn a range of skills on the job. As part of the role you will learn the following:
- Preparation and Finishing work:
- Cutting
- Drilling
- Punching
- Deburring
- Cleaning
- Packaging

Essential Skills:
