The company specializes in active temperature controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.
Warehouse Operative Days. Based at Polarspeed Distribution Ltd, Nunn Brook Road, Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 2HU. 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Salary: £25,884.40 per annum
Key responsibilities:
- Check pharmaceutical products.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Receive in-bound consignments and allocate in warehouse.
- Ensure pharmaceutical products are stored within the correct temperature range.
- Goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch.
- Processing returns including quarantined, damaged or batch recalls.
- Follow standard operating procedures in the pick and pack operation.
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment essential.
- Forklift experience desirable but not essential as full in house training will be given.
- Previous experience of working in a chilled/temperature controlled environment would be an advantage.
- Good team player.
- Computer literate, with good reading and numeracy skills.
- Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
- An eye for detail.
