The predicted salary is between 24000 - 33600 £ per year.

We are offering 1 x 28-hour Male Support Worker position. This is a supported living service, providing 24-hour support to one gentleman with a Learning Disability and Autism within his own home. Hours include sleep-ins and waking nights as well as day shifts.

The gentleman requires support to manage his everyday living needs, including personal care, medication, cooking, finance and maintaining his home. All aspects of community access; including shopping, healthcare and leisure facilities as well as support to maintain relationships with his family.

What does a Support Worker do?

  • Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
  • Supporting people to live independently - budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
  • Excellent communication skills/relationship building - supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion - Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.

There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
