The predicted salary is between 22400 - 31200 £ per year.
We are seeking a warm, compassionate and proactive leader to provide person-centred care and support to our services users. You will be based in vibrant, multi-cultural Poplar and be responsible along with the Registered Manager for the operational management and quality of the service, consisting of 40 clients, each living in their own flat. You are expected to collaborate with the Social Services and other stakeholders including the Area Manager to ensure that the highest care standards are met.
You will ensure an empowering service that meets the needs of our clients and works with their families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere. The ability to work in an empathic and holistic way to maintain client orientation and independence is essential. You must be flexible, energetic, and reliable. We are a local provider employing a diverse team of over 150 well-supported staff to deliver great services across Tower Hamlets.
You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with dignified personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access work, education, and social opportunities. We value the personal skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support, such as sports and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music, and cooking to name but a few. You will be doing 2 days of management in the office and 3 days of direct support shifts (this division can change).
Minimum Requirements
Previous practitioner or management experience in services for older people, people with dementia, and memory loss is essential, alongside a warm, person-centered, and respectful approach.
