Goodwater is seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to manage our warehouse operations and support the wider team in delivering top-quality service to our clients. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including managing stock, overseeing goods in and out and maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised working environment. You will also contribute to the assembly, testing and despatch of equipment for clients. Key Responsibilities:- Undertake accurate 6-monthly company stock takes (March and September).
- Complete various daily and weekly warehouse reports for H&S, cleanliness/tidiness, and equipment/chemical stock levels.
- Undertake the building, testing and despatch of goods to customers, ensuring that customer deadlines are met.
- Maintain all warehouse areas in good order in terms of tidiness, hygiene, H&S and organisation.
- Orchestrate all goods in/out, checking contents against purchase orders and delivery notes on arrival.
- Ensure goods in items are stored in the appropriate manner and location and communicate effectively with the Operations Team that the goods/items have arrived.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and communicate with Operations team regarding additional ordering required.
- Oversee the PAT testing of office and pool warehouse items, in line with current Health and Safety recommendations.
- Monitor, record and repair defect items, to allow safe use either on site or on the premises.
- Prepare equipment required for use on site, as and when requested.

The Person
- Minimum ‘O’ Levels/GCSE’s or equivalent.
- Plumbing and/or electrical qualification or experience are highly desirable, but not mandatory.
- Full Valid UK Driving Licence.
- 2 year’s experience of working in a warehouse is preferable.
- Excellent prioritising, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised and show a desire to create and maintain order.
- Practical and hands-on, possessing the technical skills and ability to build products for despatch.
- Able to demonstrate integrity, honesty, dignity, professionalism and respect in all dealings with customers and colleagues.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Ideally located within 20 miles of our office, but this is open to discussion.
