Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
What will you be doing?
- Provide or support rapid network fault resolution within SLA, ideally before critical service impact.
- Take proactive ownership of technical issues across the network environment, coordinating with Service Desks to ensure accurate incident handling and escalation to the appropriate resolution team, including diagnostics and impact assessments.
- Investigate network issues using monitoring tools to prevent service disruption.
- Escalate incidents per the Operational Procedures Document.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement programme by sharing insights from daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as needed to meet operational targets and ensure service excellence.
What you’ll bring?
- Experienced in 2nd line support for PDH, SDH, and Radio Communications, with strong knowledge of network management and relevant tools.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Visio, and MS Project.
- Skilled at prioritising tasks within SLAs, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with ITSM (especially Salesforce), SLAs, and reporting.
- Knowledgeable in high-voltage substations (33kV-400kV) and telecom networks.
- Holds relevant technical and industry-standard qualifications, including ITIL and vendor-accredited certifications.
