This is a part-time, fixed-term role, working Monday to Friday, with Saturday working in peak periods. The pay rate is £12.60 per hour.
This role will be responsible for cleaning and servicing the accommodation including bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. Turning around rooms will include linen bed changes. The role will include:
- Vacuum and spot clean designated bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens during the summer vacation period
- Empty waste bins in both kitchen and bedroom, and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas
- Make beds, including stripping and changing sheeting; collection of laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry for collection
- Clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, as appropriate
- Daily liaison with the Housekeeping Manager and associated UPP staff
- Act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all times
We are looking for you to already have experience of cleaning in a similar environment and have great communication and organisation skills, along with an attention to detail and the passion to do an excellent job. You will need to have a good conversational standard of the English language and an ability to read and interpret our Health & Safety guidance. You will also be prepared to work (with notice) at other sites if required and additional hours when the need arises, especially during the main turnaround days.
