Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Job description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled FLT Driver / Yardman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our yard operations, ensuring that materials are handled properly and equipment is in good working order. Duties * Operate forklifts and other machinery to load and unload materials safely. * Perform routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. * Manage materials handling processes within the yard, including sorting and organising inventory. * Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment. Requirements * A valid Counterbalance Licence. * Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse operations is essential. * Experience with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. * Strong attention to detail with basic maths skills for accurate inventory tracking. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
