Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Angular & Node.js) Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35) Rate: £250 per day Location: London (Remote) Reports To: Lead Developer / CTO About the Company: Are client is a fast-growing fintech company based in London, focused on delivering innovative digital solutions in financial technology. We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to help us scale our platform over a six month contract. Role Overview: As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll design, build, and deploy both front-end and back-end features for our core platform. This role is ideal for someone skilled in Angular and Node.js who is experienced with PostgreSQL and GCP, thrives in agile environments, and is comfortable working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain web applications using Angular (front end) and Node.js (back end), ensuring UI/UX feasibility and high performance. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices, integrating third-party APIs as required. Design and manage databases in PostgreSQL and deploy scalable solutions on GCP, ensuring high availability and performance. Write clean, well-documented code and conduct code reviews to maintain quality and consistency. Execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality; optimize app performance across various devices and browsers. Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and maintain effective team communication. Key Requirements: Front-End: Proficiency in Angular (preferably Angular 10+), with experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Back-End: Strong expertise in Node.js, with knowledge of Express.js or similar frameworks. Database: Proficient in PostgreSQL, with experience in database design and optimization. Cloud: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for deploying and managing applications at scale. APIs: Proficient in RESTful API design, development, and integration. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Mocha, or Jest, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Git, project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello), and Docker (desirable).
