Ashberry Recruitment are looking to identify experienced and qualified Senior Residential Childcare Workers and Team Leaders to join a brand-new team on a permanent, full-time basis in the Greater Manchester area. Our client is a well-respected specialist and therapeutic provider of residential childcare, supporting and caring for children and young people who present with social and emotional difficulties, as well as mild to moderate mental health issues.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in working with young people presenting with challenging behaviours and experienced at planning shifts, team leading, key-working and behaviour planning. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker/Team Leader, you will be compassionate and committed to providing a safe and stable environment for the children within your care.

We are looking for experienced individuals who are also dedicated to their professional development and eager to learn. An NVQ Level 3 in Residential Child Care (or equivalent) is essential for this role, as is a driving licence.

The position is on a permanent, full-time basis working across 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays. Shifts could be on a variety basis including early, late and long days, but also on a 1 on, 2 off basis, to include sleeps (paid at a supplement).
