This team lead on the commissioning and contracting of statutory and third sector social care provision across Wrexham. Our client is looking for an experienced, skilled individual who can draft a suite of strategy and policy documents – building on from research, national policy and guidance, and stakeholder/social teams engagement to inform the strategic direction of the department. Key requirements for the role listed below. Able to read national guidance /policy /strategy and interpret for local action. Report writing, options papers, briefing. Advising on procurement strategy An understanding of commissioning/contracting framework including the Government’s key strategies and legislative framework Experience of developing commissioning strategy Excellent written communication skills enabling drafting of clear, concise, and informative policies, reports, and committee papers.
