We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant team in Fenton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of lessons and helping students stay engaged while their regular teacher is absent. The Role of Cover Supervisor: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring that work set is completed, and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will be required to manage the classroom, help students with their tasks, and ensure that the behaviour in class remains conducive to learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting and make a real difference to students’ learning experiences. In your role as a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise and support students in a variety of subject areas and year groups. Ensure that students follow the work left by the absent teacher and encourage independent learning. Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring that students remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson. Provide additional support to students as needed, helping them stay on track with their learning. Communicate with teaching staff and leadership about any issues or concerns that arise during lessons. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students.
