Donaldsons are seeking a Dispatch Operative to manage orders and deliveries from our branch in Kirkwall. The Successful Candidate will handle local deliveries around Orkney; a full & clean driver's license is essential.
In addition to working directly with staff at various levels, you will play a key role as one of our Customer Liaison Representatives and will be well presented, with excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude. You will eventually manage order processing, raising customer invoices and processing transactions; you must be numerate and computer literate.
Other duties include Supply Procurement; Equipment Maintenance; and maintaining a clean working environment. The successful applicant will be organised with good timekeeping and be able to manage a busy and changeable work schedule. This is a physically demanding role and will suit someone physically capable.
