The primary function is to set and operate both a cylindrical and surface grinder in a relatively small section within our manufacturing facility. There is also the requirement to support the gear cutting section, hobbing and shaping various gear forms.
Activities:
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Manager / Supervisor to determine work order / priorities.
- Set and operate the machines in line with the requirements on the engineering drawing and to the specific requirements of the inspection schedule.
- Manufacture components to the highest quality standards and to meet the demand on the works instruction.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed and in accordance with the business process.
