Step by Step passionately supports young people facing difficult times. Our unique approach offers accommodation, personal development, and specialist support services to help young people fulfill their aspirations.

Annually, we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11–25, and our staff play a vital role in empowering them and preventing homelessness.

WHAT WOULD A LAUNCH LEAD BE DOING?

The Launch Lead will effectively lead and motivate the team, ensuring a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include meeting service delivery requirements, staying informed on legislation and policies related to children and young people’s services, and working with stakeholders to maximise opportunities for young people. WHAT IS STEP BY STEP LOOKING FOR?

• We are interested in candidates with experience or volunteering history with young people, such as Social Workers, Support Workers, Youth Workers, Care Support Workers, Foster Support Workers, Teaching Assistants, or Community Support Workers.

• Successful candidates will undergo DBS checks (paid for by us) and provide two references.
