Quantity Surveyor – Civils / Resi Roads & Sewers Yorkshire £45k-£50k + Benefits National Civils/Groundwork Contractor – Permanent Role Our client are a National civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a track record of delivering civils, groundworks and roads & sewers projects predominantly throughout the country. With significant contract wins they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team in their Yorkshire office. Given the nature of the duties of a quantity surveyor in this sector it is worth noting that although the office is based in South Yorkshire there will be the possibility of working from home and/or site. Role/requirements as follows: • Optimising contract profitability • Provide quotations to clients for variations • Comprehensive understanding of Residential Groundworks • Accurate monthly cost and value reports • All other daily tasks performed by a Quantity Surveyor Requirements ideally: • Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks • Time management skills and meeting deadlines • Experience in value engineering • Proficient in all Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint What’s in it for you?
