Job Description: To carry out maintenance, repair, and improvement work on properties owned by the council and external agencies, in accordance with contract and/or service level agreements. The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
This position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent more than 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks. A minimum of one reference from your current or most recent employer is required.
