As a member of Catherine Street waiting team, you'll be expected to hit the ground running in our busy restaurant. Your knowledge and passion for great food and service will guide our guests through the CS experience, ensuring that by the time they leave, they've not only learnt something new, experienced amazing service with great food and drink, but that they're leaving feeling part of the family and want to come back.
Position
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Learn all about the fresh ingredients, specials and cooking methods in order to explain them to our guests fabulously.
- Serve guests their favourite dishes passionately and with a smile.
- Learn the food and drinks menus and retain a good knowledge of it.
- Work with the bar team to ensure drinks are served quickly.
- Work closely with all other departments within the restaurant team.
- Hear some amazing stories from our suppliers and relay their ethos and passion to our guests.
- Make sure that all food is run in a timely manner and is of the highest quality.
- Ensure your guests have an experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Maintain the Health and Safety and Jamie Oliver restaurants standards.
- Work to the highest food Safety Standards.
- Remain calm as our restaurants get busy.
Requirements
- You’ll have gained experience on the floor in a similar high-volume restaurant environment where you’ll have learned how to be a perceptive people reader.
- You’ll understand how to tailor your service and really engage with every guest.
- You’ll be a great team player who really believes that the guest experience is not just something that happens at the table and that every member of the team is just as important as everyone else.
