Wincanton are delighted to be partnering with our client ASDA based in Larne and are looking to recruit Warehouse Operators on the nightshift rota.
Shift Pattern: 10pm to 6am, any 5 shifts out of 7 per week. The rota normally allows for every other Saturday off.
Salary: The Company pays excellent rates, including additional Night and Saturday premiums. When working a rota that covers a Saturday night expect to be paid Β£720.79 (gross) that week. Based on a yearly rota of working every other Saturday you can expect to be paid an annual salary of Β£33,903.22 (not including any additional overtime which may be offered).
Duties:
- Ensure correct products are received, put away, replenished, assembled and loaded prior to store delivery in line with company procedure.
- Meet targets set by management and the customer with regard to productivity and performance, accuracy, timekeeping and attendance.
- Carry out duties avoiding stock damage through insecure loads, poor stacking, insufficient shrink wrap, incorrect loading formation etc.
- Operate equipment once trained to do so.
- Move objects following safe manual handling techniques.
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and presentation.
Essential Experience, Skills And Attributes:
- Aged 16+ you can start your career with us.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques.
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices in the workplace.
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast warehouse environment.
- Dexterity (e.g. ability to regularly lift and move goods of varying weights and sizes).
- Ability to drive MHE.
- High level of accuracy, striving for 100% accuracy and maximum productivity in all tasks.
- Flexibility and reliability (attendance at work) are essential.
- Excellent team working skills along with the ability to work independently.
- Great work ethic.
Desirable Experience, Skills And Attributes:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Manual handling trained.
- FLT and/or Reach Truck licence.
- Training in Health & Safety in the workplace.
