For Companies We are currently recruiting for a Children's Home Manager for a new children's home based in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday - Friday.
The package on offer is top end market rate of up to £72,000.
Duties of the Children's Home Registered Manager include:
- Manage the 4 bedded, LD residential home efficiently, ensuring the effective delivery of the main responsibilities and key result areas identified within the role of Residential Manager.
- Participate in an on-call rota to ensure effective management across services on a 24/7 basis.
- Manage the residential service, offering expert support to young people with EBD.
- Build and develop staff team.
- Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers.
- Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards.
- Manage recruitment and staffing.
- Work with SMT to ensure the service implements company policies and procedures.
- Manage quality assurance.
- Manage budget.
Package:
A competitive salary of up to £60,000 + £5,000 in welcome bonuses + up to 10% performance bonuses.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Completed Level 5 Residential Childcare.
- Experience within an EBD Setting.
- QCF 3 in Children and young people's workforce (children's social care pathway) or equivalent.
