Lift Engineer Lift Service Callout Engineer Lift Industry Wakefield West Yorkshire Salary: £42,000 – £47,000 Additional Earnings – Standby £600 per week. On Target Earnings £80,000 per annum. REClifts is now looking for 1 x Lift Engineer in West Yorkshire. The aim of the role will be to independently manage your own service route consisting of 100 units. No matter where you live in North Wales the route and units will be fairly distributed to keep your workload to a concentrated area as local as possible to you. The Lift Company: This independent lift engineering company has continued to expand its service contracts portfolio. As a business this lift engineering company provides both service and installation engineering services to its customers. The Lift Engineer Duties: Competent in lift fault-finding diagnostics. Capable of first-time fixes of passenger and goods lifts. Participate in an on-call rota Mentor junior Lift Service Engineers As a Lift Service Engineer you will complete minor repairs on passenger and goods lifts both traction and MRL. Report defective lifting equipment and order new parts accordingly. Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate: Currently working as a Lift Service Repair Engineer or have transferable skills working as a Lift Modernisation Engineer or Lift Installation Engineer or Lift Repair Engineer. NVQ3 in escalators in addition to lifts would be good You must have at least 2 years of experience working on passenger lifts Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel. Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline. Lives a commutable distance away from Yorkshire.
